On private grounds, the community association sets the rules, so residents can generally drive low-speed electric carts without a public-road registration. Many communities set a minimum driver age and basic conduct rules. If carts will also cross or use public roads, different requirements apply — we’re happy to advise on your specific situation.
Wayfinder carts can be speed-limited in software to match your community’s rules — typically somewhere between walking pace and 25 km/h for residential settings. The limit is fixed by us at delivery and cannot be changed by individual drivers.
From a standard household socket at a carport or garage — no special charging infrastructure is required. A full overnight charge covers days of typical community driving. For shared fleets, a row of standard sockets at a central parking area is usually all the infrastructure a community needs.
