Why the Coast

The Coast is the six-seater: three rows on the longest wheelbase we build, with the same wide stance, squared edges and upright nose as the rest of the range. It moves a family, a foursome and their bags, or a shift of staff — in one trip instead of two.

That is the whole argument. A six-seater does not just carry more, it halves the number of runs, which is what actually costs a resort, a holiday park or a club its afternoon. Six adults sit in full-size seats, not shoulder to shoulder on a bench. A reverse camera is standard, which on the longest body in the range is less a convenience than a necessity. For sites that run long shifts, the 168 Ah heavy-duty pack is the one to specify.

Nine body colors, sixteen accent colors and thirty-six seat combinations mean no two Coasts have to look the same.

Four seats enough? That is the Ridge — same body, one row shorter.

The engineering in detail

Chassis and construction

Every Wayfinder is built on an all-aluminium Navitas AC drive platform — never steel. Aluminium does not rust, which matters when a cart spends its life near salt water, on wet grass or under a hosepipe at the end of a shift. It is also lighter, so more of the battery goes into range instead of hauling the frame around. The chassis is available in standard and lifted form.

Battery, charging and warranty

Wayfinder carts run on heated, maintenance-free lithium batteries from Bolt Energy USA, carrying up to twelve years of warranty — no watering, no equalizing, no acid. The integrated heating keeps the pack charging and discharging normally in European winters, where an unheated lithium pack refuses to charge below freezing. Choose 48V 105 Ah for daily use or 48V 168 Ah for heavy duty. The charger is onboard: no separate unit to store or lose, just a cable into any socket.

Drivetrain, brakes and suspension

A 5 kW AC induction motor and a Navitas TAC2 controller deliver smooth, quiet power with regenerative braking on the overrun. Top speed is factory set at up to 40 km/h and can be programmed down to suit a site. Braking is by hydraulic disc on all four wheels — not drums, not two wheels. Suspension is independent and heavy duty, so a fully loaded cart on an unpaved path rides the way an empty one does on pavement.

Interior and seating

Seating is Modz premium: six colors — brown, black, gray, khaki, rust and white — each available in six stitch patterns, from a plain finish to Cobra, Double Diamond, Hex, Honeycomb and X-Diamond. Matching headrests are optional. Sixteen accent colors let you pick out the stitching and trim, so the interior can be as quiet or as loud as you want it. A fold-down premium windshield comes as standard: up when the weather turns, down when it does not.

Display and connectivity

A 10-inch digital display sits at the center of the dash, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built in — navigation, music and calls from the phone already in your pocket, without an aftermarket bracket stuck to the windshield. A USB charging port keeps that phone alive for the rest of the day.

Frequently asked questions

Can the Coast really carry six adults?

Yes — three rows of full-size seating, not four seats with a shelf behind them. Everyone sits with their own shoulder room, and there is still space at the back for bags or clubs.

Does a full Coast reduce the range?

Load always costs range, and six adults is a real load — though less than you would expect, because the AC drivetrain is efficient enough that the six-seater stays close to the rest of the range. If the cart will spend its day full, shuttling guests or moving staff between buildings, specify the 48V 168 Ah heavy-duty pack rather than the 105 Ah. It is the single change that makes the most difference to how a busy Coast performs.

Is the Coast available as a lifted version?

Yes. The [Coast Lifted](/models/coast-lifted-6-person/) sits on a lifted chassis with raised suspension, which gives it more ground clearance and a noticeably taller stance — useful for sand, grass, crushed stone and sites with no path at all. Everything else is identical: the same six seats, the same battery, the same 15″ wheels, the same choice of street or off-road tires, the same display and the same interior options.

How far does a Wayfinder go on one charge?

Up to 75 km on the 48V 105 Ah battery. Real-world range depends on terrain, load, speed and temperature — hills, a full cart and off-road tires all take their share. For sites that run long shifts or hilly routes, the 48V 168 Ah heavy-duty pack is the answer.

How long does the battery last, and what maintenance does it need?

None. The Bolt Energy USA lithium packs are maintenance-free — no watering, no equalizing, no terminal cleaning — and carry up to twelve years of warranty. Because they are heated, they also charge and discharge normally through a European winter, which unheated lithium packs will not do below freezing.

Can I drive a Wayfinder on public roads?

That depends on the country and often on the municipality. Road rules for low-speed electric vehicles differ across Europe, and the requirements for lighting, mirrors, seat belts and registration differ with them. Tell us where the cart will be used and we will tell you exactly what is needed — and configure it accordingly.
